"So that's what's been happening in WindClan. What's up in ThunderClan, Froststar?" Whitestar, leader of WindClan, asked. "Nothing much has happened in ThunderClan." Froststar, leader of ThunderClan, mewed. "All is peaceful, and two healthy kits have been born of Flowerpelt." Murmurs of congratulations rippled throughout the Clans. Froststar nodded to Russetstar, leader of ShadowClan, as a gesture allowing her to speak. "ShadowClan has two new warriors." Russetstar mewed. "Harespeed and Eagletalon." "Harespeed! Eagletalon!" the crowd chanted. "You may speak, Solarstar." Russetstar said. The orange-yellow tom spoke up. "All is well in RiverClan." Solarstar mewed. "Darkkit, Duskkit, and Sandkit have become apprentices." "Darkpaw! Duskpaw! Sandpaw!" the Clans chanted. Suddenly, a bright light burst out of nowhere and the mewling died down. Firestar, former leader of ThunderClan appeared. He spoke to Froststar. "Froststar, as the thunder will give one last mighty roar, and the trees will shake and leaves will fall to the ground, you shall now be known as LeafClan." There was another flash of bright light, and Firestar was gone, with Onestar, former leader of WindClan, in his place. "Whitestar, as the wind will die down, and the lightning will become faster, you will be known as LightningClan." Another flash of bright light and Blackstar, former leader of ShadowClan was in Onestar's place. "Russetstar." Blackstar gazed at the red leader with love in his eyes. "As the swamp will overflow and the shadows will be enveloped in it, you shall be known as SwampClan." One more flash of bright light, and there stood Leopardstar, former leader of RiverClan. "Solarstar." Leopardstar began. "As the river will freeze and turn into snow, you shall be known as SnowClan." Suddenly, all became peaceful again. The Clans stood in shock. And that was how the new Clans were born.
