This is where the Clan cats share tongues and enter the camp.

A frantic, small, warm-toned kit thundered into the camp as fast as her petit legs would carry her. She was breathing as if she had run for miles, for she had. Her eyelids fluttered, and she fell to the ground in the middle of the clearing. The ball of fur trembled, even though she was nearly fainting.

Wolfsong walked into the clearing with a huge yawn. He was heading for the entrance when a tiny bundle of fur caught his eyes. His paws sounding like lightning crashing into a tree as he dashed over to the young kit. He quickly checked her breathing and sniffed of her to see if she was injured.

Autumnpaw let out a tiny groan. her muscles ached from running so long, and she suddenly tensed up. She jumped into a protective position with a small mew, and her wide, liquid eyes surveyed the clearing. "Where am I?" She asked. Her voice was croaky, and she could barely let out the words-she had no idea why, but it hurt to talk. Not a real physical pain, but emotional-it reminded her of the dreadful roaring of her twoleg.

"Your in the LeafClan camp..." He meowed, trying to make his loud voice softer. "Who are you?" He asked, touching the small cat's back soothingly with his tail. He knew would have to calm her before gettting her to the Medicine Cat's den.

"I'm...Autumn." She mewed, her voice finally cracking. She moved her lips soundlessly for a few seconds. It seemed like her voice didn't want to work anymore. She wouldn't make it. She sat on her haunches, and looked around. No humans in sight.

"I'm Wolfsong," he meowed, leaning over and picking up the kit by its scruff. He could tell she was tired and didn't want to make her walk if he could just carry her. His ice colored blue eyes were full of curiousity. After all, it wasn't everyday something like this happened.

Autumn went limp as he picked her up by the scruff of her neck. She was too tired to even protest, as she barely knew this cat. She dragged her tail tip along the ground, making rustling sounds among the leaves.

Crowstar saw the little bundle of fur, and it reminded her of herself when she had wandered helplessly into LeafClan. She sniffed the little kit. "Will she be alright?" Crowstar whispered to Wolfsong.

"I think so..." He meowed sighing sadly. His eyes looked a bit lost at what to do. He wasn't the best cat at dealing with kits.

A large blue eyes peeked out from beneath the heap of fur. Autumnpaw stared at the new she-cat; She had an air of authority about her, just like the other cat. Autumn had been forced to eat bitter leaves, after being assured it was foir her own good. Blech.

Wolfsong gave the small cat an amused and affectionate gaze. "She was rather irritated at having to eat those herbs though," He purred. "How would you like something much better, like some fresh kill?"

Autumn's ears perked at the mention of fresh-kill. She had no idea what it meant, but it sounded quite delicious. She shook her head energetically, and jumped onto all fours. It seems the herbs had did the trick, for suddenly she was as curious as a butterfly. She sniffed around at some dens, batted at some flating leaves, and hopped on an un-suspecting cricket.

Wolfsong chuckled lowly before walking over to the kit with a mouse dangling in his jaws. He touched the kit with his tail to get her attention then dropped the mouse at her paws. "Here ya go," he purred.

Autumn immediately stopped playing and catiously approached the mouse. She gave it a few tentetive sniffs, and inhaled the luscious aroma. A small pink tongue came out and took a lick, and before you had time to blink, she was noisily devouring the mouse. She looked like she had been starved for the past 7 moons-and she nearly had. She wolfed down the meal, and started purring at Wolfsong. He already felt like the father she'd never had.
